We implemented the program for the first time with 75 displaced mothers in three Bogotá locations: Rafael Uribe Uribe, Bosa, and Ciudad Bolívar.
We analyzed the relevance of the curriculum, the technical and logistical feasibility of the group model, and the community acceptance through a mixed methods approach, including a randomized controlled trial to provide an initial assessment of the program’s impacts.
The results of the evaluation demonstrated the program’s acceptability among participants, its technical feasibility, and its short-term impacts.
This stage was funded by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and the University of Los Andes, with the support of the Secretary for Social Integration of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá and the Dignificar centers in the three locations where the model was implemented.
